How to write a flower caption that sells

  • Lead with the feeling, then the facts. One line about who it’s for, then the name, price or how to order.
  • Give one clear next step. “Order by noon”, “Message us” or “Link in bio”: pick one, not three.
  • Name your arrangements. “The Blush Jar” is easier to ask for than “the pink one”.
  • Post before the rush. Valentine’s and Mother’s Day captions work best one to two weeks ahead, when people are planning.
  • Let the photo do the talking. The best caption can’t save a dark, cluttered photo. A clean studio photo stops the scroll; see Valentine’s menu photos for florists.

Mix a few broad tags (#florist, #freshflowers) with occasion tags (#mothersdayflowers) and local ones (#londonflorist, #austinflowers), and add your own shop tag so customers can find every post. Five to ten well-chosen tags are plenty.
