Remove the background from flower photos

Choose a photo of your arrangement and the AI cuts out the flowers, vase and all, then puts them on white, a soft colour or a see-through background, with an optional shadow. It runs on your own device, so your photo is never uploaded.

The first photo takes a little longer: your browser fetches the AI once (about 90 MB), then keeps it.

Background

How it works

  • The AI runs in your browser. The first time, your browser downloads the AI (about 90 MB) and keeps it, so the next photos take a few seconds.
  • Two AI models work together: one for clean edges around petals and glass, one that keeps solid parts like kraft wrap, so lines and marks on the wall behind are left out.
  • It keeps the whole piece: petals, foliage, stems, the vase and the wrap.
  • Choose the finish: see-through PNG, white for marketplaces, a soft colour for social media, and a square canvas with the flowers centred for Etsy and Shopify.
  • Tidy anything it missed with the Erase and Restore brush, with Undo.

Tips for a clean cut-out

  • Photograph against a plain wall or board. The less behind the flowers, the cleaner the edges.
  • Keep the whole arrangement in the frame, including the top stems and the base of the vase.
  • Check fine details before you post: gypsophila, thin stems and the edges of clear glass are the hardest for any background remover. Erase and Restore fix them in seconds.
  • Use the soft shadow on white. A flat cut-out can look like it’s floating; a gentle shadow under the vase grounds it.

A cut-out, or a studio photo?

A white background is quick and works for marketplace listings. But flowers sell on feeling: light, shadow and a beautiful setting. ShotSetter doesn’t cut and paste; it makes a new photograph of your own arrangement in a real room, with light and shadow that belong together. Quick answers

Is the background remover free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no limit, because it runs on your own device.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The AI runs in your browser; only the AI itself is downloaded, once. Your photo never leaves your phone or computer.

Why is the first photo slower?

Your browser downloads the AI the first time (about 90 MB) and keeps it, so later photos take a few seconds.

Can I get a white background for Etsy, Shopify or Amazon?

Yes. Choose White, tick the square 2000 × 2000 option to centre the arrangement, and download a JPG.

Does it work with glass vases and gypsophila?

Usually well, but fine, airy details are the hardest part of any cut-out. Check the edges and use the Erase and Restore brush to tidy them.
