How rooms work

Which ShotSetter rooms keep your flowers as made?

Every room in ShotSetter carries a small tag: Keeps your flowers as made, or Changes your flowers. Here is what each one means, which rooms do what, and how to pick the right room for the piece you photographed.

Rooms that keep your flowers as made

Most rooms: studios, pedestals, tables, homes and the rooms shot from above. Your piece stays the one you made, the same flowers, colours, shape and vase or wrap, and the room gives it new surroundings, light and shadow. Rooms where a person carries a vase keep it too.

Rooms that change your flowers on purpose

  • Worn rooms make the matching piece from your flowers: a buttonhole on a lapel, a wrist corsage (a flower bracelet), a flower crown or a lei (a flower garland). A finished corsage or buttonhole stays as made.
  • Rooms with their own vase, basket or box move your flowers into it.
  • Door and wall rooms hang a wreath. A finished wreath stays as made; other flowers are made into one.
  • Bridal rooms show a bridal bouquet, so a vase arrangement becomes one.
  • Some hand rooms make a hand-tied bouquet from a vase arrangement. Their card says “Best with a wrapped bouquet”.

How to choose

  1. Read the tag

Green tick: your piece stays as made. Clay sparkle: the room makes something from your flowers, and the line under it says what.

  2. Check the “best for” line

Some rooms suit one piece best: a casket spray, a buttonhole on the plate, a wreath on the door. Top-view rooms take any flowers, even loose stems.

  3. See an example

Tap “See sample flowers placed in this room” to see how a piece sits there before you spend a credit.

Quick answers

Will ShotSetter change my arrangement?

Not in most rooms: they keep your flowers, colours, shape and vase or wrap. A few rooms change them on purpose, and their card says so before you choose.

Which rooms make a corsage or buttonhole from my flowers?

The worn rooms: lapel, wrist, head and neck. They make a buttonhole, wrist corsage, flower crown or lei from your flowers. A finished corsage or buttonhole stays as made.

Can I photograph loose stems?

Yes. Rooms shot from above take any flowers, even loose stems, and rooms with their own vase move your flowers into it.
